Compensation: $28-$32 per hour
Build, Repair, Improve, Repeat.
Are you a hands-on maintenance professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical challenges, and keeping operations running at peak performance? Didion is looking for a Millwright to join our team and play a critical role in supporting the production of food-grade ingredients, ethanol, and other corn-based products.
This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of industrial equipment, expand your technical skills, and grow your career within a high-performing manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild industrial equipment
Complete preventive and predictive maintenance activities
Perform welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication work
Replace belts, bearings, and mechanical components
Support maintenance and construction projects across the facility
Operate tools, testing equipment, and industrial vehicles safely
Assist with equipment installation, alignment, and movement
Identify opportunities to improve reliability, productivity, and efficiency
Work collaboratively with Maintenance, Construction, and Production teams
Continuously develop your skills with growth opportunities toward a Millwright Lead role
What We're Looking For
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
3-5 years of industrial maintenance, millwright, or construction experience
Welding and fabrication experience
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and safely in an industrial environment
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office
Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Physical & Work Environment
Work in an environment that may include dust, noise, heat, and cold
Lift up to 50 pounds
Frequently climb stairs and ladders
Work at heights and in confined spaces when required
Ability to use required safety equipment and communicate via two-way radio
