Didion is seeking a hands-on Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support warehouse operations and production flow. This role plays a key part in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency while supporting the movement of food-grade products.
You’ll be cross-trained across multiple warehouse functions, gaining valuable skills and growth opportunities while helping keep operations running smoothly.
- Hours: 2pm-10pm
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
- Location: Cambria, WI
- Compensation: $23-$26 per hour
What You’ll Do
Warehouse & Operations
- Load trucks using sit-down, LP, and stand-up electric forklifts
- Provide dock coverage and support shipping/receiving activities
- Coordinate delivery schedules with drivers and carriers
- Manage and monitor dock scheduling email and logistics system (ASC)
- Support production operations to ensure efficient plant performance
Safety & Quality
- Maintain a strong warehouse safety culture
- Keep warehouse and dock areas clean and organized
- Contribute to quality, production, and teamwork goals
Communication & Coordination
- Communicate schedule updates, delays, and progress with leadership
- Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, and Quality teams
- Deliver timely and accurate reports on department activity
Continuous Improvement & Growth
- Participate in cross-training and job rotation
- Support process improvements and problem-solving efforts
- Take on additional responsibilities and project work as needed
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma required (technical degree a plus)
- 2+ years of shipping and receiving experience
- Forklift experience (sit-down and stand-up preferred)
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office; warehouse systems experience a plus)
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication skills (Spanish is a plus)
- Team-focused, reliable, and proactive mindset
Physical & Work Environment
- Work in varying conditions (noise, dust, hot/cold environments)
- Lift up to 55 lbs regularly; up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Frequent standing, climbing stairs/ladders, and working at heights
- Ability to work in confined spaces following safety procedures
- Use of two-way radio for communication
